31 Day Challenge – Day 21 Farther in and Further up
The best really is yet to come. This morning I woke up to an amazing new day. The breeze was just right, the sun was filter by a thin layer of fog and it danced on the droplets. It was a very good day and made all the better because I embraced it with peace and joy.
Each day that I check off my 14 little items is a very good day. The next day is a little better because yesterday I ALSO checked off my 14 little items. I get a little farther in and a little further up on my journey to my purpose.
Building my positive habits, including my consistency, brings contentment to my heart and peace to my mind. Each check mark gives me some satisfaction to know that one step is all that it takes. I get a little farther in and a little further up.
Understanding that it is about starting and not about results has released me to enjoy my journey even more than I already enjoy it. I am not trapped by the prospect of what I will make happen with my actions but freed to just make my actions happen. I get a little farther in and a little further up.
No matter how much I do or be or am there is so much more to discover. Challenging myself to be better pushes me to uncover that part of me that is still buried or at least unpolished. Every time I go a little farther in and a little further up it gets bigger and brighter and better.
Once you start on this path what would ever keep you from continuing until you make that final farther in and further up that gets you across the finish line?
