Journey through Reflections

“You aren’t normal.” It was not the first time I had these words directed at me, but it was the first time from a nurse administering an epidural.

I had to laugh. “I know – thanks for noticing. Besides, normal is way over-rated.”

“Journey through Reflections” shares my not-so-normal observations from my newspaper column in the Lakeside Post, Reflections from the Front Porch. I think the best tales are those shared in the rocker on the porch and many of those are the same ones I share with my readers.

I also take some of my real life experiences, twist them together with a bit of humor and toss in a little creative expansion just for interest. I hope that I manage each week to paint an image that provokes a thought or heart moment for all that encounter the words.
