Growing Accountability – Take a Time Out

You are extraordinary – or you are designed to be extraordinary – I know that for me it is just a matter of taking a step out of the ordinary and expected every single day. I do go for a moment and then I stumble or someone pulls the rug out from under me and I stop – maybe because I fell on my face and maybe because I just lost the ump to keep going.

I have translated that idea to my life journey – when I am walking out life, I find ways to maintain my three points of contact: The Word, Prayer, and Wise Counsel.

Take a Time Out

I find value in taking a moment – taking my time out.

2-10-15 Be still

It gives me a moment to review the steps that have led me to my current position.

It gives me a moment to review the goals that I have set.

It gives me a chance to adjust my direction if my path has gone off course from the goals I have set.

It gives me a chance to adjust my skills or knowledge to complete the goals.

It gives me the time to see the win – and embrace the win – and live the win – and that grows up the ability to believe.

A break, a chance to refocus, a deep breath – when I take a time out then I can find the right steps for moving in the direction that I desire instead of just running around the court without direction.
