Join the Biannual Blogathon Bash

Blogathon BashThe Biannual Blogathon Bash kicked off this morning.

The kids refused to cooperate. My husband bemoaned the need to have time to do his studies. If there was something else that could have topped my “this was not on my list” cake, I have no idea what it could have been.

I had plans – GREAT PLANS. Somewhere between checking on the son that had his wisdom teeth removed yesterday and checking on the son that had been throwing up all day yesterday, my plans got a little fuzzy.

For me, the Blogathon Bash is meant for this exact moment because it deals with the crazy of life. I may not have kicked out with the bang I wanted, but this is a new moment. This is now. I CAN so I will begin doing just that.

Tips for Tackling the Blogathon Bash

Check out the mini-challenges of the Blogathon Bash 2 to choose a few tasks for your weekend. Challenges are a great way to push from where you are right now down the path to where you want to be with your blog and your writing.

Read the kickoff post to get even more ideas for your blogathon weekend. It is not just about blogging for three full days – it is about getting your blog adventure on the right path so that you can build your blog to more than it is right now.

Make a list of things you have been promising you would get done on your blogs. Break the tasks into 10 minute, 20 minute, 30 minute and 1 hour objectives and then start checking them off.

Stop by Twitter and follow along with #blogathon2 to learn what others are doing in the challenge. Visit the Blogathon Bash Facebook page. There are others joining you in the challenge and sharing with them will help you find the encouragement to keep going.

It is never too late to start the challenge. And no challenge has to take up all of you time. Do what you can do and you will find that just a little starts you down the path to more than you can expected. Join in the Blogathon Bash and begin building you blog to more.

    1. Thanks for stopping by – and I have to agree on the lack of calm. I try to go after my to-do lists in bits and pieces and to just keep going until I have it all done.

Hope you were able to get some of it done.
