Gene Hendrix fell fifty feet out of a tree after his safety rope broke. He landed on his head and still survived. When he woke up from the induced coma he didn’t want to hear about his problems – he wanted to know his possibilities.
It was this focus – this desire to make the most with a bold determination – that allowed Gene to be back on the job in only eight weeks.
I have more than enough – right here and right now – to bring about a wealth of possibilities. If I focus on what I don’t have or what would make life easier then I will never move forward in pursuit of those possibilities.
My focus must be on what I have right now. I take that start and then I move forward one step at a time.
It is not the lack that is holding me back in this moment. It is the focus.
Dare to see what is there and then be bold in making the most of it!
