It Is NOT Hard: 5 Ways to Remember the Truth
It is NOT hard, despite what THEY keep trying to sell you. THEY tell you it is all hard:
Faith is hard.
The Christian walk is hard.
Following God is hard.
Even just breathing is hard some days.
It is all hard.

Selling the False Narrative of Hard
The world is really good at selling hard.
“You can’t do that on your own. It’s too hard.” You look at it and realize you can’t do it on your own. You buy the lie, so you don’t even try.
“The giants are too big for us. The battle will be too hard.” You look at those big giants and realize you can’t defeat them. You buy the lie, so you retreat.
“That wall is indestructible. Taking the city will be too hard.” You look at that wall and realize that there is no way through. You buy the lie, so you just walk away.
Whatever it takes, the world will do all that it can to get you to buy what it’s selling.
5 Reminders of the TRUTH TRUTH
Truth 3: It Is NOT Hard
- The world is overcome by Jesus – He has already won!
- God completes what He starts (HINT: He started you)
- Jesus says we are to walk like little children (and children have it easy)
- It is a gift – accepting a gift is not hard.
- God directs the walk – remember a guided tour is simple.
The world wants us to believe that it is hard to follow Jesus but it is easy to follow sin.
When you hold it up to God’s nature, that doesn’t make sense. If He did all the work – He made the Way. He won the battle. He provided all that is needed. Why would He turn around and make it so much harder to walk with Him?
It is NOT Hard
The TRUTH TRUTH – when you lean all in to God and you lean all in with God – GOD DOES IT.
And it is not hard. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. The more you know Him, and the more you are invested in His Word, the more His truth becomes your default.
