Do NOT Fear: How to Overcome Fear with Love
Do NOT fear.
It seems like an impossible call.
When it comes to walking out God’s design for our lives, it is a LOT of impossible . . .
Well, the world says it is impossible.
But for God, it’s not only possible, it’s expected. God walks and lives and directs BEYOND impossible.
And living outside of fear is His call to us.
Do NOT fear!
Five Reminders to Overcome Fear
- God is our Shield. (Genesis 15:1) – He’s got the first punch, the last word, and everything in between. You are not exposed. You are protected.
- God is our Salvation. (Exodus 14:13) – Even when it looks like you’re cornered, God says, “Stand still and watch what I do.”
- God Fights for Us. (Deuteronomy 3:22) – You don’t need to have the plan. Or the backup plan. Just be still. (No, seriously, be still. Sit on your hands if you have to.)
- God is More. (2 Kings 6:16, Isaiah 40:28) – Elisha’s servant saw the army surrounding them. Elisha saw God’s army surrounding that army. That’s perspective.
- God Delights in Our Prosperity. (Psalm 35:27, Luke 12:32) – He wants you to win. And not just “make it through.” We’re talking abundance, purpose, next-level living.
These are only five of the reminders available. Keep digging in the Word and find more reminders. Keep feeding the TRUTH TRUTH so when those “yes, buts” show up – and they WILL show up – you can stand firm in the reminders that God has told us not to fear.
Our flesh fears . . . because it’s our nature to fear. But the more I read Scripture, the more I realize that God’s call – Do not fear – was an invitation to a closer relationship with Him.
When we are all in with God, there’s no room for fear, and we can step boldly into God’s Abundant Life that He has designed for each one of u.

The TRUTH TRUTH of Fear
FEAR is a NATURAL response, but when we accept Christ, we are no longer natural beings. Our DNA is changed. We are Spiritual beings.
Fear no longer has a right in our lives.
Fear no longer deserves a place in our lives.
Fear no longer can stand – because LOVE fills us to overflow.
The Lord IS my Shepherd. I will NOT fear.
