Quote of the Day

“The more you invest in learning the Word the more it will become as natural as breathing.”

#QuoteoftheDay - natural as breathing

Thought of the Day

Invested in Learning

If you want to know more, you have to invest in learning more. It doesn’t matter what the topic of interest might be.

It only stands to reason that if you want to know someone more then you have to be invested in learning more about that person.

It will take an investment – of time, energy, and resources.

But the only way to learn is to make the choice to learn.

45 – Internalize the Word

You get to a place of knowing when you memorize His Word.

Repetition of the Word, the stories, or the themes sets the Word in you.
Growing HOPE Daily - 5 points - internalize the Word

  1. Write it down to set it to memory. When you write something down you engage multiple directions for learning and help to settle what you are writing in your heart.
  2. Write it out in your own words. Make what you are memorizing personal to you.

  3. Carry the Word with you. Create memory cards you can carry around with you with your favorite verses written or printed out.

  4. Get others involved. Challenge others to memorize verses with you and make it a competition.

  5. Sing the Word. Put the verse to music or find examples of musical verses.

  6. The more ways you repeat the words the more those words begin to take root in your heart – and when they get rooted in your heart the you begin to breathe them and live them by default.
