Quote of the Day
“Weeds of doubt and discouragement will destroy a garden of possibility..” – Kathryn Lang
Moment of HOPE
Develop a Weeding Habit
Weeds of doubt and discouragement will destroy a garden of possibility.
The limits in our lives are grown up just like the possibilities are grown up. The limits are the weeds – scattered about by the careless words of others and often the intentional words of the world.
Weeds will kill the very seeds you are determined to grow.
You need to be aware of the weeds and find your ways to combat the weeds that do sprout up. When you pull up the weeds right after they sprout, you expend less energy and time keeping your possibility garden clean and ready to grow up into all that you are designed to be.

Challenge for Intentional Actions
Weeding Habit
Getting rid of the weeds is an essential component for heartseed success. The weeds in your life will choke out the very seed you are intent on growing.
Today’s challenge is all about developing a weed habit.
1. Keep a list of the things that hinder your better choices.
2. Determine today to release at least one of these things when they make themselves known.
It doesn’t have to be bad to be a weed in your life. It simply has to be growing up in a place that hinders your pursuit of your heartseed design.
Scripture Focus
Today’s Readings:
Acts 13
2 Corinthians 7 – 9
1 John 4 – 5
Mark 10 – 12Scripture Focus:
“God supplies and multiples your seed for sowing, and increases the harvest of your righteousness.” – from 2 Corinthians 9:10
Ponder Point:
It is God. God supplies. God multiples. God increases. All we do is what He leads us to do and He does the rest.

71 – Complete Regular Maintenance
When it comes to maintaining a healthy garden, you need to be on guard and vigelent to what is going on in your possibility garden, what is growing up in your garden, and what needs to be done to make the garden healthier.
- First, know when and how to prune. Pruning allows for strong growth in better directions.
-
Second, you will need to weed around your heartseed. Weeds will choke out even the most determined plants – and remember a weed isn’t necessarily something bad. It is simply something that is growing where it is not supposed to be growing.
-
Third, be sure to remove the pests. Pests can create chaos in a situation, destroy the beauty of what is growing, or even kill what was once flourishing. And just like the weeds, some things that are good in one place are trouble in a different place.
-
Fourth, be willing to release the unnecessary. If you don’t have room for your uniqueness then you will never be able to grow up all your possibilities.
-
Finally, be invested enough to avoid neglect. You have to keep an eye on what you have done while you are doing so you don’t neglect what is growing.
Without regular maintenance, things get overgrown, over-run, or just run over.
The only way for you to grow up all of your possibilities is to be invested in the care and maintenance of your unique heartseed.
