Quote of the Day
βThe problem is not in the plan but in the person. The plan can be solid and focused, but until the person takes intentional steps to walk it out the plan can never work.β β Kathryn Lang
Moment of HOPE
The Person NOT the Plan
We make bad choices β or not the better choices. The bad choices waste time and energy and leave in us a place of much doing instead of getting much done.
We get distracted β the squirrels show up and drag us down the nearest rabbit hole. Instead of focusing on what needs to be done we are lost in things that are not related to what we want to do.
We get emotional β the feelings of the moment dictate the actions (or more honestly, the feelings cause the reactions). We wallow around in emotions instead of making intentional and purposeful choices.
The problem is not in the plan, but in the person’s choices regarding the plan. Make the choices that will move you into and on purpose.

Challenge for Intentional Actions
Make the Choice for the Plan
Trust, obey, join.
Itβs not complicated, but the world will rarely make it easy.
Todayβs challenge is about making the choice each day to bring the plan to live with little bits of intentional actions.
1. Define the finish line.
2. Determine your part in the plan.
3. Do what you know to do.
The more you practice the process of doing your part of the plan the more you will see that your plans are being accomplished.
Scripture Focus
Todayβs Readings:
Acts 18
Ephesians 1 – 3
Revelations 3 – 4
Luke 7 – 9Scripture Focus:
βBy Grace you have been saved through Faith. It is a gift from God.β β from Ephesians 2:8
Ponder Point:
God gives the gift of Grace. You receive the gift through your Faith in God. It is not works or even words β but the heart that makes the difference.
Share Moment:
When did you choose to receive the gift of Grace?

75 β Know Your Seat
God knows. God leads. God provides.
It is up to us to trust Him, to be obedient to His design, and to trust in His process.
- First, itβs an all or nothing situation. You have to move. You canβt almost move. You have to obey. You canβt partially obey. You have to let go. You canβt hold on to who you were and grow up into all of your possibilities.
-
Second, you have to be willing to leave it alone. Once you give the seat to God then you have to leave God in the pilot seat.
-
Third, accept that God knows best. This doesnβt have to make sense to the world. It doesnβt even have to make sense to you. Accept that He knows.
-
Fourth, it is a one step at a time process. The BIG DREAMS, the impossible determinations, and the place in purpose are all accomplished one little bit at a time.
-
Finally, lock into the promises. The promises serve like a seat belt that keeps you firmly in place even when turbulence occurs.
Not only do you need a plan for living out your place in purpose, but you have to know your part in the plan.
If you donβt know the promises, then you end up getting annoyed about the process that was spelled out if you had taken the time to read the manual.
