Dreams Can Become a Reality

If you want something bad enough then you can achieve it. Desire – that deep, burning hunger that tells you that you will not live without it – will ignite a passion to make it a reality. That passion will push me to do what needs to be done to get to that place that I desire to achieve. But I have my part to play.

So you want to sell a million books? Do you want to win an award for your writing? Do you want to develop a speaking platform?

It can happen. You have to believe it can happen. You have to know what you want. You have to be willing to dig in and make what you want a reality in your life. It is up to you and it is up to me.

Getting to That Place I Desire

– Know what you want. Without a destination, you will never be in a position to arrive. Set goals. Get a vision. Grow a bold determination in your heart for what you want to become and where you want to go.

– Know what you are willing to invest to reach the goals. Getting to your destination is up to you. The actions you take and the resources you invest will be what determine your journey. You can get anywhere if you are willing to take the steps to get there.

– Know the reality of the situation. You have to do the research and find out the truth about your expectations and your desires. The research will reveal what you will have to do to get there.

– Know what needs to change if your goals and reality do not match up. You may have to invest more. You may have to change your goals. Until you know it all, you will struggle to know anything about getting there.

I make the difference in my success or my struggles. I can get to where I want to be. It is possible. My part in the journey – and the ultimate end – is to do all that I can to reach the end that I have set my heart on reaching.
