I am interested in the creative aspect of writing for a wide range of topics. I am a full-time freelance writer and I am looking for opportunities to become part of an organization that will allow me to utilize my love of words.

My experience in freelance writing has varied over the last ten years. I have written everything from posts on forums to monthly columns in regional magazines. I have had featured articles in national magazines and created content on the internet for companies that represent many different industries. My interest in and ability to research allows me to cross genres and industries with comfort. My writing experience includes complete eBooks, travel columns, press releases, and more.

More About Kathryn Lang

Kathryn won the 2012 SELTI Tourism Fiction Award which opened up a door to become the Executive Director of the SouthEastern Literary Tourism Initiative – working to combine tourism and literature to promote great locations throughout the South.

Kathryn has been a full-time freelance writer online since 2004, writing content for a wide range of companies. She continues to pursue freelance writing as a way to expand her understanding of words and to share the power of the words created.

Speaking has opened up others doors for Kathryn to grow her relationship with words. She has spoken at WordCamps, writing conferences, women’s retreats, and community organizations to promote relationships, hope, and encouragement.
