Proverbs Devotion

“Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.” (KJV) Proverbs 20:5

This word, counsel, has several meanings including “purpose.” The purpose of who you are and what you are designed to do is already in your heart. It may be deep down , but it is running and just waiting for you to tap into it.

The man of understanding – with intelligence and insight that comes from knowing the Word and the Creator of the purpose – will be able to draw it out.

You have it in you to be all that you are designed to be.

You have to invest in growing in understanding to be in a position to draw it out.
