Quote of the Day – Ask the Question – April 17, 2017
Quote of the day for Monday, April 17, 2017 – Ask the Question
You have to ask the question like you want to know the answer.”
I grew up understanding the direction “ask for the sale.” It challenged me to ask for the job, the opportunity, or the actual sell.
At some point in my journey, I stopped asking.
I think I became afraid of what the response might be. Maybe it was that I had become comfortable where I was – even though I was not all that comfortable in my existence – because anything else would require change. Most likely, I stopped asking because I didn’t want to know the answer.
If I want then I have to ask. Even Jesus said “you have not because you don’t ask.”
Ask the Question
- Ask the right question – specific to what you want to know.
- Ask the right with – with a little courage (even if you don’t feel like it).
- Ask with expectation of an answer.
The answers are available. I just have to be willing to ask the question and then I have to be willing to hear the answer.
