Quote of the Day
“Engagement is simply the act of sharing – sharing laughter, sharing support, sharing encouragement. When you engage with others you invest in others.”
Thought of the Day
Intentional Engagement
You are designed to be in relationship, but without engagement in relationships you will not have the foundational relationships necessary to stand strong.
Engagement is a choice – and like most things you have to be intentional about choosing engagement because there will always be an excuse or reason handy not to choose.
Make engagement a priority and begin by focusing on little bits of engagement – a quick note, a share on social, a text or private message. The little bits of engagement add up and they make the way for bigger engagements.
Be intentionally engaged and you will grow up the relationships you need.
Challenge for Intentional Actions
Prioritize Engagement
Commit to being engaged once a day for the next week.
One engagement per day.
Little bits are okay.
Record the results.
Scripture Focus
“Revive us and we will call upon Your name. Lord, restore us. Cause Your face to shine on us and we will be saved.” – from Psalm 80:19

Find Your Focus
You have to find your focus to stand strong against what comes at you. It will take focus to get through – through the storms, through the opinions of others, through the next step. Find your focus and then hold on tight.

39 – Grow Up with Engagement
If you are going to be engaged, you are going to need to be intentional about making time for your engagements.
-
Little bits of engagement, like little bits of others efforts, will make a difference.
- Engage with others by following up after meeting those people for the first time. The best way to follow up is with a note. Putting in the extra effort to engage makes an impact.
-
They also followed up a second time just to engage. Be invested in others to grow up the relationship, not to gain something from the connection.
-
Be willing to connect your connections with other connections.
-
Be willing to engage online. Be willing to make time to engage off line. When you make engagement a priority then you will have the time you need to get engaged.
- Be connected online and offline – and okay with crossing those lines.

Invest little bits of engagement to begin creating your foundational relationships.
