Surviving Life to Receive the Crown of the Proverbs Woman

Blessed is the woman that perserverse under trial (and through the chaos of life) because after she stands strong through these trials and these tests she will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised.” – Kathryn

The Proverbs woman never mentions struggles or down times. She is always going and always doing and always going and doing with success. The Proverbs woman always preservers until she gets her crown.

I desire to be the Proverbs woman – or at least part of her on most days. Life has a way of putting the hitch in my giddy up.

I aim to get it all together, but sometimes when I think I have the world moves my middle.” – Kathryn

A bout with sickness through my house, some family obligations, and the disorientation caused by both these things left me dragging. I knew I was moving forward, but I also knew I wasn’t moving as fast or as forward as I wanted. Let’s just say I probably would have passed the purpose sobriety test.

I began to review and plot to regain my balance. I made my list. I checked it twice. I went to add the items to my Daily Task sheet in my Focus Folder. To my shock (and it really did catch me off guard), all of the items were already ON my Daily Task sheet.

When I set up my White Board of World Domination and then translated that into tasks, it turns out I was very much on top of my journey. Now I have to follow through.

She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.” Proverbs 31:26

I can’t get to where I want to go without knowing my destination and then having a plan. The plan won’t do me any good unless I take action to make that plan happen. Life will get involved in the journey and sometimes it will get in the way. I have to determine to keep going and take that next step even when the detours show up.

Be blessed,
