Developing Faith Focus to Drive Possibility Living
You need a faith focus if you are going to see clearly enough to step out into purpose living. Without the right focus, it becomes easier to talk yourself out of the next step β after all, you canβt be sure what you are stepping into when you do dare to move.
The more you hone your faith focus the bolder you will be in making your move.
A screen covers the lower windows of my office. Actually, they cover all the lower windows throughout our house. My theory had been the screens would allow us to open the windows in the spring and fall. My husbandβs allergies had other plans.
The only time any of the windows have ever been opened coincided with a mishap in the kitchen.
I brought up the screens because they hinder my focus when I look out to enjoy the garden, the scenery, or the random wildlife that prances into view (the other day it was a herd of deer and a few weeks before that a rafter of turkey β and yes, thatβs what they are called. I didnβt believe it either so I looked it up).
To add to my focus issue, the windows are dirty and despite all of my bribes, I canβt get my son to clean them for me. It should be simple to clean the windows, only because we donβt open them weβve placed furniture in front of them so you canβt tilt them open to access the screens to remove the screens to be able to clean them.
Weβve taken something that should be simple and complicated for reasons that donβt even matter anymore.
And if that wasnβt enough to make my focus difficult, I also have astigmatism. I can see up close with no issues, but I struggle to focus things at a distance. I need glasses to see the wildlife out in my yard, but I donβt use the glasses when I work.
I want to enjoy the wildlife, but so many things work against me to keep me from my focus.
Only, they donβt. Each of the things Iβve shared all has remedies and they each have remedies I can manage to correct if I made the choice to invest in correcting my focus.
No matter what you are doing or where you are going, you have to make the choice to make the investment to make the focus right. If you want to live a life founded in your unique design then you will have to have the faith focus to walk it out.
Making the Choice for Faith Focus
Creating the focus you need, one based on faith and not the facts of the world will require investment. You need to invest in feed your focus. You need to invest in understanding your unique design for focus. And you need to invest in trumping the facts of the world (and the world will not easily give in).
When you determine to lock in the faith focus then nothing will hold you back from your design.
- Recognize the person things. Know what is unique to you β the natural tilt you have because of where you were raised, what you were taught, or what you have experienced. Just like I have astigmatism, sometimes there are things that affect the person and ultimately the focus.
- Be honest about what stands in the way. If you have put up barriers or allowed walls to be built around you then you have to recognize it so you are positioned to clear it away.
- Take action to do what you can do. You have to make an actionable investment in your focus by feeding it, clearing out the other things, and making your focus a priority.
- Lockdown on your heartseed. Know your why. Know why you are doing it. Know the promises that support your why. The more you lock down on who you are designed to be and you will be able to lock in on your faith focus.
As long as you let things get in the way, you will struggle to have the focus you need to get you to your BIG DREAMS. If you are going to live bold then you need to actively invest in growing up your faith focus.

You have a unique design and you have a place in purpose, but you have to take the steps to get there. Distractions will come up. Life will happen. The world will make noise. If you want to stay on track you have to have a faith focus to keep you there.
