You give them something to talk about when you dare to live your unique self. The moment you stop wasting your time trying to be something you’re not and trying to conform to rules that aren’t your own, then others start talking – some good and some bad.
Keep being your uniqueness and keep walking out your God calling with intention and let them keep talking.

Lesson on Uniqueness
In 2010, I had the opportunity to speak to several groups, organizations, and events about hope, encouragement, and living a life of peace (and getting paid).
In 2011, I released my first novel, which sold over 21,000 copies.
In 2012, I won an award for my short story, “Digging Up Bones,” a tourism fiction.
In 2013, I launched Growing Hope with Kathryn Lang and began building a following.
But then, as I began looking for ways to grow and stretch, things got complicated. I let someone else tell me how I should talk, act, and do. With each change, I became less me. Even though I was sharing tips on living uniqueness, I was slowly building a box around my heart.
A few weeks ago, my new friends told me I needed to put more of me in what I was doing. They encouraged me to be my best self. They practically dared me to be more me. Before too long, my walls were coming down, and I was gaining momentum back into my dreams.
When I was trying to be someone else, I lost myself. I had to lean back into my unique design to begin finding my better way.
Finding Your Way to Give Them Something to Talk About
When you dare to live your unique self, it gives others something to talk about. Embrace your uniqueness and walk out your God-given calling with intention, letting them keep talking while you stay true to yourself. Don’t be swayed by others’ opinions or judgments; instead, stand tall in your authenticity, and let your light shine as you pursue your dreams with passion and joy.
