Handcrafted by God: How to Recognize Your One-of-a-kind Design
You are a one-of-a-kind. A handcrafted by God treasure that can’t be repeated or replicated.
That means the path you are walking has “never been done that way before.”
If you have ever been a part of a group, an organization, or a team then you have probably encountered that phrase.
The world wants the status quo.
The world wants the same ole same ole.
The world wants you to straighten up and get in line.
The world wants you to conform.
Younique design does not go along with any of these things.
It is new.
It is an individual.
It is “never been done that way before.”
You are a handcrafted treasure, put on the potter’s wheel by the Master Potter, and shaped and crafted for such a time as this.
#QuoteoftheDay
You are different
from others
because you are
handcrafted by God.
– Kathryn Lang

You are different from every other person on the planet.
You are unique in all the world.
And the more you understand this and lean into the truth of your YOUnique design, then the stronger you will be able to stand up to their “we’ve never done it that way before” attacks.
Understanding How You Are Handcrafted by God
- What sets you apart from others – what are your superpowers?
- What do you love to do so much that you never tire of it (and maybe even get fired up by it)?
- What comes naturally to you – so much so that you tend to forget not everyone else can do it?
- What whispers in your heart (that dream, hope, prayer you never say out loud)?
- When was one time that you felt pure joy in what you were doing?
The world is loud and will demand that you get in line and tow the line.
But YOUnique design gives you permission to color outside those lines.
Answer the questions. Keep digging. Keep exposing your heartseed. Keep investing in the uniquenesses of YOU so that you can begin to truly grasp what the Potter crafted.

As my family often told me, “When they made you they broke the mold. Rumor has it they beat the heck out of the mold-maker too!” Perhaps so, but I’m the only me that ever was or ever will be and I owe it to the world (and my maker) to be the best of whatever that is.
My husband usually just said, “Thank you, Lord,” when I point out that there is only one me.
