Journey to Change – Day six – 7-20-16
Journey to Change
No plan, no pills, no programs – just better choices and determined commitment to those choices
Today is a very good day. I got up on time. I made my bed (which has fresh linens on it). I started my day with focus.
I’ve run into two big struggles so far – wanting to get on the scales (because I see them every time I walk into the bathroom) and forgetting to eat (when I am the only one around for the meal).
The first challenge is the toughest – because although I know that weight is not the only reason for making these changes, I also know that weight release will be an outward result of what I am doing. I keep reminding myself that it was a long journey here and this is only the first part of the long journey to a new and healthier life.
The second challenge is just a matter of changing my habits. I may have to regulate my meal time for a while until I get in the habit of eating when I am hungry and not when I am starving.

Recap of the Day
My energy level is not at its peak right now – something that I expect about once a month. Because I committed to getting up at 4:30 every morning, I’m still getting a lot done. Because I committed not to eat after 6:00 pm I am still maintaining better fuel consumption.
But I do think that I will be heading on to bed LONG before the sun makes its final bow behind the mountains tonight.
I’m just that tired.
