Just a Bit
The invasion had been scheduled to start just before noon. The first wave would be the lightest – only 12 or so and would make the perfect preparation for the onslaught later in the day. We knew it was coming, so we began to prepare (and by we, I mean me).
Just a little bit.
I invested just a little bit of my time to the different tasks necessary to prepare for the invasion. I spent just a little bit of my resources and created some great front porch seating to entertain our guests and to enjoy ourselves.
Just a little bit.
I released some of the extras that we had to bless others. Just a little bit of our extra plants were a delight and treat for those that visited with the garden club.
Just a little bit.
It turns out that a little bit can make a big difference.
I know that if I want to live that fruitful, purposeful life, then I have to get my steps right in God and right through God. Just a one step, and then another, all taken a little bit at a time, and I will get there.
