5 Times You Need to Keep Showing Up
Showing up makes all the difference in the world and for your purposed life.
Keep showing up!

There are moments when showing up feels impossible. When quitting feels easier. When staying in bed, hiding, or running the other direction seems like the best choice.

Show Up When It’s Hard
Life gets hard. Circumstances feel overwhelming. The road ahead looks impossible.
Show up anyway.
When I first started working out again, it was hard.
I was out of shape. My muscles ached. Every part of my body protested.
But I showed up. I did 15 minutes, even when I didn’t want to. Even when everything in me said, “This is too hard.”
And you know what?
It got easier.
Because when you show up in the hard, you build strength. You gain endurance. You prove to yourself that you can.
Keep showing up—especially when it’s hard.
Show Up When You’re Tired
When you’re exhausted, everything in you wants to quit.
I’ve had those days. The ones where I’ve poured out everything I had—creatively, mentally, emotionally—and there’s nothing left in the tank.
And yet, I still have to show up.
Because consistency isn’t built in moments of high energy.
It’s built when you show up even when you don’t feel like it.
Success isn’t about how much energy you have—it’s about how locked in you are to your unique design.
Because when you are locked in – without hesitation and with fully loaded determination – you just keep showing up.

The secret to success
is simple:
Keep showing up
AS YOU!

Show Up When No One Else Does
Have you ever been in a group where someone said, “We are going to do this!”
And you KNEW that “we” really meant “you”?
I have. More than once.
And I had a choice.
I could either quit because no one else showed up, or I could keep going.
And you know what?
I showed up. I kept going. And I got things done.
Because if you wait for everyone else to show up first, you’ll be waiting forever.
So be the one who shows up—even when no one else does.
Show Up When You Don’t Feel Like It
Motivation is fickle – much like spring in Alabama.
There are days you’ll feel unstoppable. Inspired. On fire. Ready to tackle anything.
And then there are the other days when . . . not so much.
You’re cold, stormy, or just too grey to care.
Those are the days when you want to stay in bed. The days when doubt creeps in. The days where the excitement fades, and all that’s left is the choice:
Do I show up anyway? Or do I finally give in?
There is only one way to your success, your BIG DREAMS, or your purpose living:
It’s YOUR choice.
Choose to show up—even when you don’t feel like it.
Show Up When You Want to Quit
This is the most important one.
When you feel like giving up.
When it feels like nothing is working.
When you’re convinced it’s pointless.
That’s when showing up matters the most.
There’s a cartoon that makes its way around the internet every now and then.
Two guys with pickaxes are digging through the dirt.
One is still digging—so close to breakthrough.
The other has turned around, walking away from the breakthrough that was just inches away.
And I wonder: How many people quit just before the breakthrough?
How many people stop because they don’t see the progress they expected?
I get it.
I’ve been there.
I was leading a weight loss group at my church. I worked out. I ate clean. I drank the lemon water.
In one week, I lost two pounds.
Then, another woman in the group stood up and said,
“I cut down from two chocolate biscuits in the morning to one.”
She lost seven pounds.
I wanted to quit right then and there.
But I didn’t.
And in 12 weeks, I lost 30 pounds.
Maybe I didn’t see progress as fast as someone else, but I was making progress.
And when I stopped focusing on what wasn’t happening, I could see the truth:
I was getting somewhere.
And so are you.
If you’re thinking about quitting, just show up one more time.
One more action.
One more step.
One more chance to see what happens.
Because you might be closer than you think.
The Secret to Success? Keep Showing Up
The world will keep selling you magic formulas.
But the truth?
Success is simple.
💡 Consistency beats talent.
💡 Commitment outruns motivation.
💡 Showing up—again and again—is the real game-changer.
You don’t have to see every step.
You don’t have to feel ready.
You don’t have to have everything figured out.
You just have to keep showing up.
