I couldn’t see a thing. The rain was pounding so hard, my wipers barely made a difference. My headlights caught glimpses of the road ahead, but the storm swallowed everything else.

I had two choices.

I could push forward, straining my eyes, hoping I didn’t drift off the road and end up stuck in the storm.
Or I could pull over and wait for the storm to pass and just be patient so I can get through the storm.

I chose to wait.

Because sometimes, when you can’t see clearly, the best thing you can do is pause and get clarity.

And let me tell you—when I finally learned that lesson in life, EVERYTHING changed.

I thought I had it all mapped out.

🔹 A perfect business plan.
🔹 A rock-solid strategy.
🔹 A clear goal for success.

And then THEY showed up.

THEY told me what I should be doing.
THEY told me what success looked like.
THEY told me what the right way was.

And the more I listened to THEM, the more I faded away.

The more I faded, the more confused I became.

The more confused I got, the harder I tried—chasing everything and accomplishing nothing.

Until one day, I got so buried in the fog of their expectations, I stopped moving altogether.

I had no idea who I was anymore.

No direction. No confidence. No clarity.

I was done. Ready to quit.
