Proverbs Devotion – December 7 2013
“Keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live.” (KJV) Proverbs 7: 1 – 2a
The foundation is the most important part of the construction. A faulty foundation will result in a faulty building. There is no two ways around it. A skilled carpenter will be able to adjust, but the building will always be a little off if the foundation is off.
Lay a firm foundation by making the Word that foundation. Put it in your heart, everyday – and every moment of the day when possible. Read the Word. Listen to the Word being discussed or taught. Make it the primary thing and the foundation of the Word will prepare you for so much more.
