Tips for Writing on Busy Days

Writing must be a priority in my life if I want to expand my writing career. Some days that is just not a possibility. There are too many other things that have to be done for me to get word on written.

Or is that just an excuse?

I recently covered the topic of busy day blogging over at Contentrix.com. There are ten ways to beat back the business and get your writing done.

“Most of the experts say that content is king when it comes to building visitors to your blog. Being consistent is one of the most important factors listed when it comes to creating great content for your blog. Visitors will come back when they know that something new will be posted. You have to find a way to balance life with writing your blog. Being too busy to blog can end up killing your website.”

These ten tips may not hold all of the answers, but they are definitely a great beginning. Some of them may help you find ways to write that you had not considered. Other tips could help you find lost time in your day. All of the tips will bring you closer to getting the writing done when you think you do not have the time.

Contentrix.com is a great site for getting more help with the content for your blog. Next week I will be covering ways to keep the words flowing.

Now it is your turn to share. How do YOU tackle blog writing on those days that are too busy to get anything done?

  • Hi Kathryn –

My secret: I write posts four weeks in advance. When life smacks me, I don’t have to worry about missing a post or two. It’s all there and scheduled.

It’s taken some doing to get that far ahead, but it was worth the effort.

    Blessings,
