If I am going to understand the path that I am walking or the steps I need to take then I have to invest some energy in counting the cost of my choice. I need to know what it will cost me to say yes.

Weighing the Cost of Yes

I have to take time to weigh the cost of yes so that I can better understand the better path for my journey.

1. There will be a cost for me saying yes – not only a cost from me, but a cost to the people related to the yes in any way.
2. There will be a cost of others saying yes for me – and I have to be wise in how I respond to those yes declarations.

3. There should be a cost comparison – no verses yes – so I can make the better choices.

4. There will be unforeseen costs for saying yes. I must be prepared for those unexpected.

5. There will be a cost from tomorrow for the yes I say today.

I can’t say yes to everything that comes along because every time I say yes I limit my ability to say yes the next time around.
