Keeping It Simple
It doesn’t have to be complicated because it is up to you. It is your choice and your way. And since it’s up to you then it is simple.
We just invest a lot of energy making it complicated. We add on the rules of others and expectations of others that cloud our unique path. We put limits and restrictions on the steps we can take or the ways we can go.
It’s still choice, but we put the power in the negatives and in others instead of letting our possibilities lead the way.
If you are going to create the path to better choices then begin by keeping the journey simple.

A humble heart knows that God is first and God is the reason, so the humble heart is focused on God and trusting in God to see him through.

We get in trouble when we make the purposeful choice to do what we want to do instead of what we know God wants us to do. What’s worse is that the choices we make in our own will causes ripple effects that cascade onto (and often into) the people around us.
There are always two choices for our journey. We cand do well – do what’s right in God – or we can do it our way. (from Genesis 4:7; and Joshua 7: 2-3).
Keep the spirit leading the way by staying invested in God and the emotions and flesh will not have the chance to push you into a ditch.
