Know in Your Knower
Today, it happened. This was one of those days that resulted from the accumulation of many other days all piling up together – and it was an AMAZING experience.
Things come by God’s timing and not by mine. Too often, my impatience steps in to drive the point in the direction I desire. That puts me even farther from the place I am called to be.
There are those times that I truly surrender to His path and His wisdom and even follow through surrender with faith marked by action. Today was one of those days.
The last several days some amazing things have been happening in our neck of the woods. Line upon line and precept upon precept, the time has been building. The delays that I have been experiencing were for a reason and for a season.
“Divine delay is not divine denial.” Pastor Emmanuel Eli Fiagbedzi, from The King’s Voice Ministries, shared his heart tonight at Celebrate Recovery, and it touched my heart. He talked about Lazarus and the message was almost a direct repeat of the one I heard yesterday at the noon chapel.
But Pastor Emmanuel took it farther in and farther up. He had me speak the words that Martha spoke that day. “I believe.” Speaking those words of affirmation broke through barriers that I did not even know existed and the line of coincidences, divine appointments and “what are the odds of THAT happenings” came together to let me know that the time is now!
So, how was your night?
No matter where you are or where you have been, the time is now. Look for God at work in your life and you will see God at work in your life.

God has been pushing me to listen to Him more. To step out in obedience and not just pray in my spirit when Holy Spirit pricks my heart. He wants me to pray with others. I’m not talking the “hey I’m at the alter come pray with me” or the I’m in the prayer room please pray for me. I’m talking that He wants me to pray with His people everywhere I go. May seem simple to some but for me it’s a new way of life. I had to opportunity to reach out today when I normally would have prayed under my breath or in the bathroom or just in my spirit. It’s the 4th or 5th time in the last week that I’ve stopped in my comings and goings to pray with someone.
Ah – that whole listening thing 😀 He’s been talking with me a lot about that as well! Glad to hear that you are choosing to listen!
