  1. Amen! I actually sat in on a training session last week for making money on my blog. I started my original political one almost 5 years ago, and it hasn’t changed much in terms of content. Do I want to interrupt the flow of valuable news in exchange for $$? Probably not. However, i am also blogging for others now, too, and much of what they do is for profit, which is how I get paid. Which means I’d better learn – quickly – how to combine the money making with the solid content. I just don’t think I can let go of the latter for the former, though. I’d never be able to live with myself!

  2. Hi Kathryn –

I’m back and raring to go. In fact, yesterday was productive. I accomplished 4 major tasks: attended and helped run our writing group, worked out at the gym, traveled to a book signing an hour away and met some awesome writers, and took a dry run to the County Courthouse. I have Jury Duty there. It’s nice to know where you’re going.

As far as blogging for profit, I’m just blogging to connect with other writers, help them out, and develop some discipline by keeping a schedule. Like you, I don’t have the time or energy for anything else.

Thanks for the migraine tip. I’ll have to try it.

    Blessings,
    Susan 🙂
