Quote of the Day

Trying to see by reason alone never reveals the silver lining.

Thought of the Day

Silver Lining Visions

“This isn’t going to work out the way we wanted,” my husband announced. “Doesn’t that bother you?”

I wanted to tell him his question was a trick question. It did bother me that things weren’t going to work out – at least not in the immediate moment. I also didn’t let it bother me.

Or maybe my answer was a trick answer.

Things happen. Storms get stirred up. They can disrupt, disturb, and derail the day – but they don’t have to be in control.

Choose to see beyond the storms. Choose to find the light in the darkness. Choose to seek out the silver lining and you will find it.

Possibility living is possible even when the impossible seems to be in control. It’s your vision that makes the difference.

Develop silver lining vision and the storms don’t bother you anymore.

Challenge for Intentional Actions

When you hit a snag, find one thing to look forward to or one hope to hold tight to.
