Weekly Devotional May 21, 2017 – Sun and Shield
”For the Lord, God, is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” – Psalm 84:11
I am called to do what I am uniquely and purposefully designed to do. It may mean that I plant a seed. Once I plant the seed, my part may be done.
God’s provision does not have to come from that specific seed.
Too often, I find myself doing what I think I need to do and then I dictate how the results will return. So far, me telling God what to do has not worked out that well.
It turns out, God knows what He’s doing. If I will focus on doing what I am supposed to do, then God will work the rest out.
It may not make sense – it probably won’t make sense – but it will be done because His Will will be done. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
