31 Day Challenge – Day 7 and All is Well

Things got a bit crazy yesterday and I completely forgot to post about the challenge. It probably had nothing to do with the fact that I let both of my older boys have spend the night company. There’s no reason that a herd of boys running in and out of the house would throw off my thinking.

Despite all that went on yesterday everything got done. It got done a LOT later than usual and I almost talked myself into NOT doing them. But that empty block next to the item on my check list pushed me to do just a little more before calling it a night.

The weekend is now looming before me and this is the time when I say “forget it all – I’m just going to relax and enjoy myself.” Indulgence is easy for me on the weekends. But I made it through last weekend and that should be enough motivation to keep me moving.

Thinking ahead – I may attempt to do this same challenge again next month only with the added challenge of one more thing each week until I get to the place where I’m doing all that I think I need to do.

Are you challenging yourself? Are you finding a reason to get beyond where you are right now to begin the journey to where you want to be?

Standing still stunts your dreams, your abilities and especially your momentum. Get moving, get changing and get started to that place where your dreams are waiting.
