All comments of “support” are not created equal. Some are meant to encourage me back on the right path while others are meant to crush me in the black darkness of guilt. Sometimes it is the heart of the giver that makes the difference, but most of the time it is my own heart that can determine the difference.

Five Questions to Determine Accountability vs. Guilt

    Does it feed the motivation or steal the energy?
    Does it focus on the possibility or the problem?
    Does it deflect from others?
    Does it offer me hope?
    Does it grow me or weight me down?

1-28-15 Seek HOPE
Accountability is a powerful tool for taking that next step but guilt will stop me in my tracks. I have to know the difference and choose the accountability if I want it to be worthwhile.
