Proverbs Devotion – December 4 2013

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom; and with all thy getting get understanding.” (KJV) Proverbs 4:7

First thing is first – you have to get wisdom. Wisdom comes from the continuous pouring of the Word into your eyes and your ears. The more you pour the Word into your life, the more it will begin to grow into that wisdom.

Wisdom builds the foundation necessary for living in this world. Through the growth of wisdom that comes for a continuous consumption of the Word, understanding takes root. Once understanding becomes established, everything begins to fall into place.

But it all starts with wisdom which comes from experiencing the Word.
