A Simple Plan Builds Success
It takes a simple plan to build success. The more complicated it becomes, the easier it will be to get tangled and tripped up. Complications breed chaos.

Quote of the Day
“Keep it simple. The more complicated you make the plan the more likely it remains on paper.” – Kathryn Lang

Moment of HOPE
A Simple Plan
Keep it simple.
I say it a lot – mostly to myself. Despite the constant reminder, I have been known to invest quite a bit of resources, making it complicated. I have even found ways to make simple things complicated just to make things more complicated than they should be.
My son comes to mind when I think of keeping it simple. Several times, he said or did things when he was little that were perfect reminders that it’s only complicated because we make it that way.
Once, I watched him searching the ground by his grandfather’s steps. I called out to see what he was doing.
“Looking for my sucker.”
“You can’t eat that sucker,” I replied.
“Yes, I can.” He found it just as I had replied, wiped it off, and continued on his merry way.
The mom in me had layers of rules. The child only wanted to eat his sucker.
A simple goal. A simple idea. A simple action.
If we are going to have success in our journey, we need to find ways to make our plans as simple as that.
