Finding Direction Through Sharing
Finding direction through this season may only happen when we are open and honest with others, and through that sharing, we are open and honest with ourselves. All of this open honesty leads us to see things that we might have missed otherwise.
An open heart leads to an open mind and we need to have an open mind if we going to find our unique way through the chaos bombarding us from every direction.
It starts with an open heart daring to share.
#QuoteoftheDay
Yesterday, over on the website, I shared a long post about how we are all in this together. It’s why we need to be willing to expose our heart to others and ask for the specific help and support we all need for the next step.
In that post, I talk about how sharing sometimes provides ideas and opportunities we wouldn’t have found otherwise.
Today, it happened for me. As I was sharing with my husband about what I had been doing with my writing he suggested I take my long-form content I’m posting on my website and turn it into a podcast.
MIND BLOWN!
Power From Sharing
Being consistent takes the little bits and adds them together to make big impacts. I donβt like that word because being consistent is one of those things where I often stumble. Iβve mentioned before that I am good at being consistent for a time, but that being consistent in my consistency is a sticking point.
But I know this about myself, and determined that when I could find my way then I would be able to break that blockage.
Before the first of the year, I took a few weeks to evaluate the steps I was taking and especially why I was taking those steps. I found my love of writing again and realized that it was the taproot of my heartseed.
I leaned into my writing and developed a consistency again. After four months of consistent writing on my social platforms, I turned to my website. By the end of the month, I recognized that I wanted to up my word game by relaunching the Growing HOPE podcast.
I also wanted to expand my content consistency through postings with Peculiar Productions and The Abundant Life.
I sat down to start working on my first script when my husband provided the profound idea of using my blog posts and articles to create the script to develop my podcast. It was the same repurposing process only with less effort than I was doing before.
I gained because I shared.
One Step Farther
My foundation developed from knowing my passion points, natural inclinations, and strengths. I used those elements to release the negatives and expose my heartseed. The stronger I grew in my heartseed knowledge, the more I could align my steps to walk out what I needed to do even when others told me I needed to do things the βright way.β
Taking the time to share with my husband and listening to his ideas and directions gave me clarity that I wouldnβt have found on my own.
I had ideas for doing things, but the brainstorming with my husband allowed me to take those ideas one step further.
Amazingly, my roots were already expanding because I had been sharing with others. Each little bit of sharing allowed me to expand my vision a little bit more until I was positioned to suddenly see clearly now.
Clarify Direction Through Sharing
The more Iβm invested in building relationships, the stronger I become in finding my way. I have to be invested and continue investing to get there.
Unique
My way is unique in all the world. The more I lean into my place in The Abundant Life, the bolder I grow in my unique design.
Together
My way is my own, but not a path I take alone. I need to learn from others, to grow with others, to imagine more through others.
Up to Me
My way is up to me. Even though I need others to gain clarity and to grow further, I have to make the investments and take the steps each and every time.
I have to keep going to reach my purpose. And since I was made to live this purpose and my purpose is essential to my heart and to the hearts of others, then I have to keep going.
We Are Made For Purpose
We are all made for a purpose. It doesnβt always seem like it or feel like it, mostly because we get so tangled in the limitations of the world that we canβt see the Truth.
But there is a purpose.
When you know your purpose, you will have a need to walk it out. The more you know it, the stronger the purpose grows. You canβt ignore an exposed purpose.
First, dare to admit you have a purpose.
As long as you are denying the truth of purpose the easier it will be to stay locked in the box the world created and then shoved you in.
Second, take the steps to uncover your purpose.
Talk to others about when you had joy in the journey or write out those moments in your life that have the strongest positive feelings. Keep making lists and keep digging until you find the heartseed.
Third, start moving forward.
Take a step, even if itβs one of the baby steps from the Mother May I game we played in elementary school. One step is all you need to begin infusing your heart with the motivation necessary for one more step.
Fourth, share with others.
After all, we are all in this together.
You can. You can know your purpose and live your purpose when you invest in unlocking your heartseed. Although each path is unique, we will walk our unique paths bolder and stronger when we invest in relationships with hearts determined to walk out their uniquenesses as well.
The more we open up, the more we can find direction through sharing and step into our design.
